Overview
Based on feedback from attendees bioLOGIC Europe will be moving back to the President Wilson hotel in Geneva in 2007.
The conference quality will be maintained but with a wider agenda to attract a wider audience. There will also be a strong initiative to keep growing the number of attendees whilst maintaining the seniority. In particular we want to increase the number of smaller biotech companies attending.
We are developing an advisory board for the 2007 event. The advisory board will work closely with Terrapinn on the development of the 2007 agenda, making sure we cover all the key areas of importance and attracting the best industry speakers.
Confirmed advisory board members for 2007 include:
- Andrew Sinclair, Co Founder, Managing Director, BioPharm Services
- Dr James Hope, Vice President of Biotechnology, BioProcessors
- Dr Barry Holtz, Principal, Holtz BioPharm Consulting
- Sandra Fox, President, HighTech Business Decisions
- Dr Meenu Wadhwa, Group Leader, Cytokine and Growth Factor Group, NIBSC
- Professor Beate Stern, Associate Professor, Department of Biomedicine, University of Bergen
- Dr Avinoam Kadouri, CEO, Rainbow Biotechnologies
Conference
Feedback from the agenda was very positive and topics were both well organised and relevant. More case studies were requested on a good proportion of the feedback forms.
People want to see less sales/company presentations on the agenda. There was good feedback on the panel discussion format and speed networking. We may look to introduce round table discussions for 2007. |
